Australian Tourist Visa (aka Visitor Visa)
Tourist visas to Australia, also known as Visitor Visas. Commonly called “holiday visas” too, or very often “Just a simple tourist visa”. Well, actually they are not as simple a visa application as many imagine, although many assume otherwise that such a visa application will be a mere formality (and are shocked when it’s refused!)
Anyone who is not an Australian Citizen requires a visa to enter Australia. No visa, no entry. This especially applies to tourist visa applications. And Aussie tourist visas, because many believe they are easy and quick, are the preferred choice of those dishonest and non-genuine visa applicants who intend to overstay in Australia to work illegally on the black market. So if you ARE a genuine visa applicant, you need to prove that you are NOT intending to overstay and breach visa conditions!
Refusal of tourist visa applications to Australia from the less-affluent countries like the Philippines is surprisingly common. There are a lot of scams and clever schemes to “trick” the Embassy around, often encouraged by Filipino travel agents or by well-meaning family and friends, or from the various online advice forums and Facebook groups. Fortunately Down Under Visa know all of the urban myths and are familiar with all the dreadful advice about what to say and what visa requirements are supposedly necessary, and we can keep you on the straight-and-narrow path to a tourist visa grant.
If you are a genuine visitor, ie. if you want to go to Australia for a short visit for tourism purposes or to visit friends or family, we should be able to get you a Australian tourist visa.
Note that visitor visas for recreation, holidaying, sightseeing and seeing Australia as a genuine tourist are less common from Philippines due to the costs involved which are out of reach of the average Filipino (which the Embassy Case Officers know only too well).
Our greatest successes (in fact we have exceptional success rates) are with the Australian Filipina couples who meet and fall in love, and want her to visit Australia to enhance their relationship ie. see if she likes Australia and if she will be happy there with her Australian man on a permanent basis and to visit the friends and relatives of the Australian sponsor. If you are in a Filipina lady or Filipino man in a genuine close relationship with an Australian, or if you are an Australian who wants a romantic partner from Philippines to visit you, then please use the FREE ASSESSMENT FORM at the top of the page. We have a very high success rate with genuine visa applicants and have had thousands of visa grants over the years, particularly where they have met in person as a sign of their commitment to each other.
If you are a genuine visitor, especially if you want to spend time with a boyfriend or girlfriend (or an Australian fiancee, fiance or spouse) or even a family member, then we can help you by preparing a visa application which is complete and honest and which meets the Regulations in Australian Migration Law. We can give you precise visa requirements that are right for your situation, and we can then check those visa requirements that you send us for correctness. We are thorough and we are absolutely honest. No lies or scams, and no promising a fast visa grant. No clever schemes to fool the authorities. Our success rate is 99%+ tourist visa applications granted, all without ever telling lies. And what’s more, we won’t take you on as a client unless we believe you will be successful.

Australian Family Visas
Visas available under the Family Visa banner include Contributory Parent Visas, Contributory Aged Parent Visas, and Temporary Sponsored Family Visitor Visas. Qualifying for parent migration to Australia depends on your age, your health and the number of children you have living in Australia. Older parents who are currently visiting family in Australia may be eligible to remain there.
Please note that there are no general “family visas” for sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts or uncles available at all.
There are Child Visas and Dependent Child Visas for children (natural children and adopted) who are wholly or substantially dependent on you for their daily needs.
- Dependent Child Visa: If the parent of the child holds a temporary partner visa.
- Child Visa: If the parent of the child holds a permanent partner visa.
And there are New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship Visas for those New Zealand Citizens who reside in Australia on SC 444 “Special Category Visas” to bring family members including spouses and de facto spouses. Please use the free ASSESSMENT FORM to see if we can help you.
Citizenship By Descent
Do you have a child born overseas who has at least one Australian Citizen as a parent?
If the child is born where at least one biological parent is an Aussie Citizen, then the child will be entitled to apply for Australian Citizenship By Descent. The child will then be entitled to apply for an Australian passport, and can travel to and remain in Australia. No visa necessary ever.
If you have a legitimate claim, we can prepare and lodge an application for the child.

Reviews and Appeals of refusals
(Migration Review Tribunal or Administrative Appeals Tribunal)
Has your visa application been refused or your visa cancelled?
Migration Review Tribunal (MRT) Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) handles the review of most Australian visa cases eligible for review under the law. The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) also handles the review of divisions in relation to visa cancellation on “character grounds” as well as business visa cancellations.
These are opportunities to appeal visa refusals. These are opportunities to overturn wrong decisions, and to present new and more detailed evidence to support your case. In many cases these are the last chance you get to save your application and to get yourself or your relative into Australia. We can help you to prepare these cases.
Please contact us immediately if you’ve had a visa application refused or a current visa cancelled. There are strict time-limits imposed by the Department.
We can even appeal AAT failures directly to the Minister of Immigration in some cases.
